2007 Grant Awards
The following organizations received environmental grant awards:Trinity Productions was awarded $1000 for its "Back to the Earth" program. The goal of the program is to connect people who want to garden, but have no space to do so, with people who have land available for gardening.
Groundwork Bridgeport lwas awarded $1000 for an Urban Neighborhood Reforestation Program, to purchase four trees as part of the Pequonnock River/Beardsley Park restoration project.
