Women Making a Difference: Environmental Advocacy
CT-SWEP cordially invites you to attend our holiday brown bag lunch with special guest speakers Sandy Breslin, Director of Governmental Affairs for Audubon Connecticut, the state office of the National Audubon Society and Elizabeth Gemski of Murtha Cullina's Government Affairs Group. Ms. Breslin and Ms. Gemski will speak to us about Audubon's environmental advocacy in Hartford and the nation's capitol, recent successes and challenges, and what the recent election outcomes may hold for conservation and environmental affairs.

For parking, when you turn on Asylum Street, the XL Center Garage will be on your right; CityPlace is directly across Asylum Streetwhen you exit the XL Center Garage. Murtha Cullina will validate the parking for event attendees.
Holiday Donations
This season CT-SWEP has decided to support local nonprofits Audubon Connecticut and Connecticut Food Bank. CT-SWEP will match member donations. Anyone making a donation at the event will be entered into a raffle for decorative holiday plants.
If you would like to make an online donation to either organization, please do so using the links at the top of our Events page. We will also be collecting checks at the event. Checks should be made payable to Audubon Connecticut or Connecticut Food Bank. Donations of packaged food for CT Food Bank will also be accepted at the event. We are grateful for everyone's generosity this holiday season.
