Hello SWEP members!  We are pleased to invite you to join us at SWEP’s October Brown Bag Program with guest speakers Derek Ezovski and Chris McCormack.  As you may know, the USEPA published proposed changes to the ASTM Phase I standard on August 15, 2013 with the expectation that the changes would be effective on November 13, 2013….if no adverse comments were received.  Mr. Ezovski and Mr. McCormack will discuss the key changes and how they may impact your business, lending practices and due diligence efforts.  They will also discuss the where the changes stand as it appears an adverse comment was received during the comment period which closes on September 16, 2013.  Chris was involved with the ASTM International task group which revised the environmental site assessment standard and can provide insights into the process.  Derek works with many lenders and other business and can offer comments on these changes may be impacting business practices.   This discussion will provide valuable practice tips!
