ELUR PROGRAM UPDATES
WITH GUEST SPEAKER PETER HILL OF DEEP
Hello SWEP Members! We are pleased to invite you to join us at SWEP's November Brown Bag Program with guest speaker Peter Hill of the Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection (DEEP) Remediation Division.
Mr. Hill will discuss key changes to the ELUR program and the Department's policies for ELUR applications submitted during the transition period from the previous ELUR application materials to the new ELUR Application. This program presents important information especially since as of January 1, 2014 all new ELUR applications must use the new ELUR Application.
Peter Hill is a Supervising Environmental Analyst with the Remediation Division of the CT DEEP where he has been employed for 19 years. Prior to his employment at DEEP, Mr. Hill was employed as an environmental consultant. Mr. Hill's responsibilities at the DEEP include supervising department staff in DEEP's Remediation Division and the Environmental Land Use Restriction Program, and leading the Remediation Division Laboratory Quality Assurance and Quality Control Workshop. Mr. Hill received a B. A. degree in Earth Science from Central Connectuct State University in 1989. He is a Connecticut Licensed Environmental Professional.
