The following organizations received environmental grant awards:

University of St. Joseph Biology Department was awarded $1880 for its water quality testing program along the Sciantic River.

New Beginnings Family Academy was awarded $2000 to build a greenhouse and implement a year-round gardening program.

Girl Scouts of Connecticut was awarded $2000 for supplies and training for its "Growing Up Wild" program at Camp Laurel.

Housatonic Valley Association was awarded $960 for its riparian buffer improvement program and high school educational program.
