Please join us for a presentation by Victoria (Tory) Man of ZUVIC who will be providing a summary overview of topics related to polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs). Tory is the Director of Environmental Services at ZUVIC Inc. and has been with the company for about 15 years. Tory has more than 30 years of experience as an environmental consultant and has been a Licensed Environmental Professional (LEP) since the first roster was issued in 1997. Tory has a degree in Chemistry and Biology from the University of Connecticut and worked in environmental laboratories during the beginning of her career, transitioning to environmental consulting in the late 1980s. Her work focusses on site assessments and remediation, hazardous building materials and PCBs in the environment and building materials.
Topics to be discussed will include:
- TSCA regulations- including a summary of recent changes
- CTDEEP regulations
- TSCA sampling requirements
- PCB remediation case studies
